About StackBlaze
We exist so developers can focus on code.
StackBlaze was built by developers who were tired of spending more time managing infrastructure than shipping product. We think the cloud should get out of your way.
Our story
Built out of frustration.
In 2023, Alex and Sarah were running a small consultancy and spending a disproportionate amount of time managing Kubernetes clusters, writing Helm charts, and explaining to clients why a simple deployment took three days.
They believed there had to be a better way. Not another wrapper around AWS - something built from scratch with developer experience as the first principle, not an afterthought.
StackBlaze launched to a private beta in early 2024. Within three months, developers had deployed over 10,000 services. The message was clear: the market was ready for something simpler.
Today, StackBlaze is a small but growing team of people who care deeply about the craft of developer tooling. We're backed by great investors and powered by developers who tell us every day that we've given them hours back in their week.
I spent two years at AWS helping enterprises manage Kubernetes. I watched brilliant engineers waste days on infrastructure that should take minutes. StackBlaze is my answer to that problem.

What we believe
Our values
Ship fast, fix fast
We believe speed is a feature. We move quickly, make mistakes, own them, and fix them. Standing still is the only thing we fear.
Developer-first, always
Every decision starts with one question: does this make developers' lives better? If the answer is no, we don't build it.
Care deeply
We care about our users' uptime, their products, and their users. When something goes wrong, we feel it too.
Small team, big leverage
We stay lean intentionally. A small team with great tools and trust moves faster than a large team with process.
Default to transparency
We publish post-mortems, share our roadmap publicly, and tell users the truth, even when it's uncomfortable.
Taste matters
Software should be beautiful. Every pixel, every error message, every API response. We sweat the details so you don't have to.
The people
Meet the team
A small, senior team. Everyone ships.
